Why we created qualitymfg.net

Reaching out to an underserved community.

For almost 10 years, we have been working with the New England manufacturing community to promote their products and services. During that time, we discovered among them an elite subset... companies that strive for continuous improvement by adopting a documented, often standardized policy for measuring quality parameters.

However, in spite of their hard work, buyers often don't recognize their achievement. This web site is our attempt to get their message out to buyers and purchasing agents.

In the course of our internet research for this project, we discovered a few similar databases. Some of them require subscription fees before they will allow prospective buyers and purchasing agents to access them. We think this policy is self-defeating. What good is a listing for your company if your potential customers must pay to find you? Some online databases are so large and unwieldy that it takes forever to find anything. Others are well organized and quick to load, but yield so many search results that it's difficult to make a choice. It's possible to have too much of a good thing!

This site is devoted solely to New England-based companies, which makes the database lean and fast. We want potential buyers to find the information they need quickly and efficiently. And we intend to keep tinkering with our database until qualitymfg.net is the very best resource available.

This is a new venture, and like all new ventures we will have growing pains. Over the next several weeks, we will be conducting an e-mail outreach campaign and will be telephoning the companies in our draft database to verify their information and to offer them an opportunity to enhance their web presence.

Free listings for qualified organizations

Your free listing will include your company name, address, a description of the product or service you offer and any formal quality certifications you have achieved. Just fill out our simple form and take advantage of this unique promotional activity.

Enhanced listings are available at reasonable rates (hey, we need to eat too!) and include your company's complete contact information including telephone and fax number, e-mail address and web site link. Banner ads are also available.
