A quick course in quality
What standards do... and don't do
The
word "quality" is an abstract term; that is, it means
different things to different people. That's why organizations such
as ISO composed sets of standards. While these standards might not
reflect everyone's idea of what quality is or isn't, they define
quite specifically what adherence to a particular standard means.
This provides a point of reference for businesses around the world
to communicate with each other.
The listings on this web site have two things in common. They are
all located in New England, and they all have made a commitment
to offering quality goods and services. Many of these companies
have quality standard certifications. They all have a documented
quality control policy.
The qualitymfg.net database is the result of months of internet
research to get the information that matters most to buyers. As
the site matures, we'll be adding new features to help you find
just what you need, when you need it.
